I do have to point out another recent favorite addition to my TV watching schedule and that is the HBO comedy series Flight of the Conchords.
HBO.com synopsis describes it the best:
Flight of the Conchords follows the trials and tribulations of a two man, digi-folk band from New Zealand as they try to make a name for themselves in their adopted home of New York City. The band is made up of Bret McKenzie on guitar and vocals, and Jemaine Clement on guitar and vocals. Bret and Jemaine have moved to New York in the hope of forging a successful music career. So far they've managed to find a manager (whose "other" job is at the New Zealand Consulate), one fan (a married obsessive) and one friend (who owns the local pawn shop) -- but not much else.
Now this is a definite must see for people who enjoy a "unique" sense of humor. I laughed so hard last night that I was having trouble breathing. They sing these songs in the middle of a scene that are some of the most creative things I've heard in a long time and all to a beat that could have been pulled from a Casio keyboard. Genius.

Wellll that sounds different for sure. : - ) I don't get HBO anymore.
Don't bother seeing the new flick
Evening. I read some place that they are comparing it to
The Notebook...not even close!
I've never been a big fan of Claire Danes....she tends to smile through the WHOLE movie...eeeeenuf already. Too much jumping back and forth from past to present and Meryl Streep's part was so small and toward the end of the flick. Nanny and I think her daughter played the part of Lilah though. She somewhat resembles Meryl.
If you did see it...what did YOU think? Thumbs DOWN for me
