Make It Work

I have several stores I cover for my sales job that are down by the Jersey shore. I have never visited them, though, because it's quite a drive during the work week. I just spent a year putting them off. However, yesterday John strategically took the day off so I could bring him with me to help do a little work so that we could spend the rest of the afternoon on the beach with Andrew, Sue, Vicki and John's mom who were down there vacationing for the week.

It was a not too hot, overcast day, perfect in my opinion for the beach, and we got to take our fearless niece into the water and on the boardwalk for her first time. She loved every minute of it, as did we. Every opportunity that we can spend with her is really important to us. Sometimes John has a hard time hiding his enthusiasm...

Those kinds of moments make us see why people would want to have children and with the recent news this month that my cousin and two of our friends have buns in their ovens, it kinda makes us think... are we ready for that step?
