Special Occasion

Today I went to the first of three baby showers I have on the books for the next few months. This one was pretty special, though, because it was for my cousin Lauren and her first baby. It was one of those display showers where none of the gifts were wrapped, just kind of set on a big table for Lauren to look over when she wanted to. Really no pressure. So it turned out to be a lot of ladies who were eating and chatting and not a ton of ooing and aahing over gifts. I did, however, end up sneaking a glance at her loot and found myself going ga-ga over some really adorable outfits.

I'm not sure how my cousin has done it either, but she looks amazing. I swear aside from her stomach she is exactly the same. I have to hand it to her. I'd probably be double my current size in her situation. Only time will tell I guess. One thing is for sure, though, I'll be pretty excited if that time was sooner rather than later.
