It Could Happen To You

Last night I had one of the weirdest and scariest things happen to me. My I-Tunes account was hacked into, completely altered and some nut made a bunch of purchases using my credit card that was on file. Thankfully, John and I were able to catch it less than 48 hours after the initial incident was made, but it really creeped me out and we learned some valuable lessons about how safe our personal info. really is through I-Tunes. My credit card company was awesome and quickly took care of the unauthorized charges, but John spent a long time on the phone with Apple trying to get some help and answers.

Just a friendly word of advice, if you use this system, don't have your Apple ID be your email address. Make it something obscure and change your password often. Apparently this has happened to many other people.
