They Say It's Your Birthday

Last night around 9 pm I was sitting on the couch with John and it hit me that it was the last day of my 30th year. I hadn't really given it that much thought until then. I've had so much more to think about this year than my looming 31st birthday.

I must say, though, that looking back, I just can't believe how quickly time flies. I'm so grateful for all the wonderful things that have happened to me over the years, and especially this past year. I'm always a fan of birthdays because they give me a chance to reflect and I really do appreciate all the great people that I have in my life. And this year, most importantly, the little person I have arriving in just 4 1/2 weeks!

Today I plan to take the day off, vote, try to relax and maybe do a little shopping before my birthday dinner tonight with hubby. Truly couldn't ask for a better day than that.
