Holiday Wrap-Up

Natalie's first Christmas was awesome. Well, she and I spent most of it alone together upstairs, but she did allow me enough time in the morning to open gifts with John and my family. Ironically, most of the gifts under the tree were for her :)
Uncle Matt made some designer centerpieces, my mom her killer mashed potatoes and John brined a turkey that was melt in your mouth delicious. His family joined us for dinner and we had a cozy fire. All the makings for great memories, including our first photo as a family.

Yesterday, we had a visit from my good friend Erin and her husband Daniel who made a special trip down on the train after their mini-vaca in NYC. It was so wonderful to catch up with them and to see my BFF holding my baby.
Today, my Dad and John took a ride down to the Reading Terminal Market to get some fresh fixing's for tonight's special New Year's Eve dinner that John is cooking. We plan to have a nice, relaxing evening with my parents and Nat, of course. Things have definitely changed from this time last year, but I'm so grateful for all the wonderful blessing that we have received in 2010 and excited for what the new year holds for us.

All the best to all of you out there in 2011!
