Two weeks ago I had my first ultrasound and it was truly amazing (besides the need to have a full bladder at the time). Our little peanut moved side to side for me and I was told it was the perfect size for how far along I am. I couldn't believe how surreal it was. I could have watched it all day if I didn't have to pee so bad. I even got the first grainy, black and white photo of him or her. My sweet husband made it his I-phone screen saver.
Today was another big step when we got to hear the heartbeat for the first time- 150 beats per minute. It's been nice to finally get live confirmation of things going on inside of me, aside from nausea and exhaustion. I can hardly wait for the next time.
