It's been a whirlwind work week since returning from San Francisco on Monday, that I wish I was back there again. We had an amazing time and even though it was my fifth trip to the city, we did more things in four days than I have in past visits.
We spent one whole day up in wine country, visiting four unique wineries, basking in beautiful, sunny weather and concluding with an hour long ferry boat ride back to the city. It was so serene and peaceful. I can totally see taking another trip just up there, especially when I can drink again.
We took time to see sites like the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiradelli Square and we even held off the side of a VERY fast moving trolley. The food was outstanding everywhere we went and we had great company from the other couple we were traveling with. The city itself is full of such neat history and buildings. The people are really friendly and I even enjoyed the brisk walks throughout the various neighborhoods like Chinatown, Presidio and North Beach, despite feeling pretty exhausted by days end.
I was so glad we squeezed in another mini-vacation. I would highly recommend visiting San Fran if you haven't before. It is well worth it.
