Kitchen Revamp Part 1

Our Labor Day weekend was spent working on our kitchen, the room that has been a total eyesore in my opinion since we moved into our house two years ago.

My wonderful husband worked all day Sunday with some help and then all day yesterday by himself to get all our top cabinets built, hung and operating. He even had to close up an old window in the process so that I could get my much needed extra storage.

Toward the end of Sept. he'll be finishing the base cabinets and we will be picking out granite counter tops, knobs, a sink and faucet in the interim.

These projects would seem so daunting to me if I didn't have such a great partner to go through them with. I'm very grateful that he is so handy and never complains.
