Finishing Touch

I've been in search of the perfect tile backsplash as we finish our new kitchen, but it seems that all I am drawn to either doesn't work, or is way too expensive to fathom. Recently, we came across an article on painted, tin ceiling tiles in a current issue of This Old House magazine and I sent away for a few samples.

Still not sure if it will work exactly until I live with them for a few days, but I like their uniqueness, the fact that John can easily install them and most importantly the cost.
